Security Posture Management
Posture is not a product you buy. It is the measurable state of your defenses right now, and most of it can be read from outside your business without touching anything.
- No Login
- No Software
- No Network Access
- Public Records Only
External exposure is measurable. Blindspot tracks the public signals that shape your security grade.
What Security Posture Means
Posture is the state of your defenses, measured rather than assumed. It answers the one question most owners cannot answer honestly: if someone tried today, how hard would it be?
Most of that answer already sits in public records. The term came from enterprise software and carries an enterprise price tag. The part that matters to you is free to measure.
Posture Is a Moving Target
A certificate expires, a service is opened for a vendor, a record is edited. Posture is the state today, not the state at the audit.

The Four Things Posture Actually Measures
Identity
Can someone claim to be you? Email authentication is the whole game here, and it is the single most common gap we find.
Surface
How many ways in are there, and do you know about all of them?
Credentials
Are the keys already copied?
Trust
Do the signals that vouch for you still hold?
Why a Grade Instead of a Report
A list of findings tells you what is wrong. It does not tell you how bad, whether it improved, or what to do first.

Improving Posture Without Buying Anything
Close the Identity Gap First
Publishing SPF, DKIM and DMARC records is a DNS change that takes about ten minutes and costs nothing. It is the highest return move available to almost every small business, and most have never made it.
Find Out What You Own
Public certificate logs list every subdomain you have ever secured. Read yours and you will usually find a service you forgot existed. Shut down what you do not need.
Rotate What Is Already Public
If staff addresses turn up in breach data, treat any reused password as gone. A forced reset and two-step login costs an afternoon.
Then Measure Again
Fix it, run it again, confirm the grade moved. A change you cannot verify is a change you did not make.
Posture Over Six Months
A single assessment is a photograph. Management is the line, including the months it moved the wrong way.
Questions
CSPM watches settings inside cloud accounts like AWS or Azure, and it needs access to them. This is external posture, measured with no access at all. A business running on Microsoft 365 and a website gives CSPM very little to look at and has plenty of external exposure.
Certificates expire on a schedule, breach lists publish without warning, and DNS changes the moment someone touches it. Monthly is the floor. Continuous is better, which is the whole argument for monitoring over a one-time check.
Email authentication is the most common weakness we see and the fastest to close, and closing it moves most grades more than anything else. Holding a strong grade afterwards takes ongoing attention rather than one fix.
Blindspot is not a penetration test. Nothing is logged into, no password is tested, no network is touched. Every check reads a record that is already public. That limit is deliberate, and it is what lets us run the scan for any business, free, without asking anyone's permission.
Measure Your Posture Now
One grade out of 100, measured the same way for every business we scan.
We only read public records. We never touch your computers and we never ask for a password.
